The miticidal activity of silver nanoparticles towards date palm mite (Oligonychus afrasiaticus (McGregor)): efficacy, selectivity, and risk assessment

SNP were shown with greater sensitivity against O. afrasiaticus in laboratory conditions than N. barkeri, which accounts for about 40 folds of selectivity against the pest. " SNP exhibited ovicidal activity against O. afrasiaticus eggs laid eggs. SNP did marginally better than in laboratory research, 86. 5% of population reduction of O. afrasiaticus, and only 18. 5% of the N. barkeri population were affected, with only 18. 5% of the N. barkeri population affecting only 18. 5% of the population. SNP denied hatching of 51% of O. 's laid eggs. "Afrasiaticus" is the Greek word that refers to "afrasiaticus. ".

Date (Phoenix dactylifera L.) polysaccharides: prebiotic potential & health properties, a Clinical Trial

"In this research, date flesh polysaccharide and date seed polysaccharide were extracted by ultrasonic-alkaline extraction technique. Lactobacillus plantarum, functional characteristics, prebiotic ability, and metabolic activity of Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. DSP had a potentiation effect on B. animalis and L. plantarum, as shown by the DSP. Moreover, when cultured with DSP, B. animalis produced higher short-chain fatty acids. "Date seed powder treatment on blood biomarkers revealed that date seed powder could significantly reduce TG, CRP, FBS, and RBC and RDW, as well as raising RBC and RDW. ".

Abstract B87: Analgesics use increase the risk of renal cell carcinoma (RCC): Results from a large up-to-date meta-analysis

"Abstract Introduction: Analgesics have been attributed to an elevated risk of renal cell carcinoma in children, but the evidence is mixed. We investigated the relationship between analgesic use and RCC risk using a meta-analysis approach in the majority of available studies. For each category of the analgesics, study-specific effect estimates were mixed to calculate an overall risk and its 95% confidence interval using a random effects model. Both acetaminophen and other NSAIDs were each associated with an elevated risk of RCC: pooled RR of 1. 33 for acetaminophen and 1. 26 for other NSAIDs, respectively. Conclusions: We found that using acetaminophen and non-aspirin NSAIDs was associated with a substantial risk of RCC development in this meta-analysis of analgesics use and RCC risk. ".

Fermented date residue extract mix containing gamma-aminobutyric acid augments the immune function of mouse splenocytes

"When supplemented with DREM and fermented DREM containing GABA, mouse splenocytes were found to be viable. " The addition of DREM and fDREM made it possible for the absence of tumor necrosis factor -u03b1 from the splenocytes, with fDREM being more effective than DREM. Our results show that GABA-containing fDREM supports the immune function as a food and pharmaceutical component, in contrast to a general conception of the suppressive effects of GABA on various biological functions.

Evaluation of Antioxidant Capacity by Cyclic Voltammetry of Phoenix dactylifera L. (date palm)

"The present research investigated the antioxidant properties of four indigenous cultivars from Algeria, namely, Ghars, Chtaya, Degla Beguiefda, and Tinissine. " Quantitative analysis of total phenol and flavonoid content by a colorimetric assay revealed that methanol extracts are high in these elements. The value of IC50 for the DPPH radical test ranged from 0. 93 to 0. 400 million mg/ml. In a methanolic extract of Tns, the less IC50 value in the cyclic voltammetry method was 0. 121 mg/ml, the highest active antioxidant, according to the Tns' lower IC50 value.

Effect of Planting Date on Phenotypic Characters, Harvested Leaves and Seed Yield of Mustard Green (Lai Shak) In Sylhet Region

"A field trial was conducted at AEZ-20's South SurmainSylhet during two years of 2017-18 and 2018-19 to find out the best planting time for healthy and economic production of leaves and seed yields of mustard greens. " So, the planting period from October to mid-November in Bangladesh's Sylhet area would be suitable for commercial production of leaves and seed yield of brown mustard.

Cultivar-Specific IgE-Epitopes in Date (Phoenix dactylifera L.) Fruit Allergy

"Six of the patients with high SPT results who volunteered to be further evaluated with the 18 cultivars and their sera used in ELISA and immunoblotting. " Five of these high-IgE ELISA scores were high, but individual cultivars varied in their number of IgE immunoblot bands. Using individual serum from 24 of the 32 SPT-positive patients with the pooled cultivar extract, they were all sera bound IgE immunoblots with the pooled cultivar extract, with about 65% of sera bound to a 54-year-old doublet bands at u201358 kDa. IgE bounds sera from date fruit-allergic patients to three key allergens, including u226414. 3, 27. 31, and 54 (u201358 kDa). Five of the cultivars that produce high SPT reactions, high IgE ELISA scores, and bind IgE to the key allergens can be selected for the production of u2018in-house allergen extracts and allergen standardization.
