CCR2 Targeted Molecular Imaging and Treatment of Abdominal Aortic Aneurysms

AAA's murine AAA ruptures are predicted by the pathogenic function of the monocyte chemoattractant protein-1/C chemokine receptor type 2 axis, and we suggest testing the ability of 64Cu-DOTA-ECL1i PET/CT to predict the murine AAA rupture and serve as a companion diagnostic tool to determine CCR2 molecular therapy. We will perform the first-in-patient study of 64Cu-DOTA-ECL1i PET/CT to image and report AAA inflammation in a preoperative setting and obtain key biological data from AAA specimens collected at the time of open AAA repair in order to determine the benefits of 64Cu-DOTA-ECL1i PET in AAA patient care. The monocyte chemotactic protein-1/chemokine receptor 2 gene, according to preclinical and clinical studies, plays a significant role in AAAs' pathogenesis. The depletion or specific inhibition of CCR2 in AAA mouse models significantly reduced the production of matrix metalloproteinases and aneurysms, reducing the production of aneurysms and aneurysms, limiting the possibility of CCR2 as a biomarker for AAA imaging and pre-screening for targeted intervention. In several animal inflammatory models using positron emission tomography, we have developed 64Cu-DOTA-ECL1i for targeted imaging of CCR2 positive pro-inflammatory monocytes/macrophages.
