Abstract In the present decade for the advantages water level control system, the groundwater level monitoring system plays a vital role. This paper presents a Linear Regression - Machine Learning algorithm based on a wireless Sensor Network for Smart Groundwater Monitoring System to measure and monitor the groundwater level. The integrated SGMS also uses the measured results to determine and estimate the groundwater quality and quantity to help the groundwater properly. The LR-ML algorithm with WSN calculates the water level for the irrigation, household use, and industrial use, as well as alerts the user when borewells are dry, preventing the coil burn in the water pump. The LR algorithm is chosen for the investigation because it has the ability to monitor sensor nodes with WSN for SGMS. If the LR algorithm is embedded with WSN, it has the ability to enhance the underlying SGMS's performance.
