" However, experimentally, the effectiveness of TLCDs to regulate the response of a multi-degree of freedom system has rarely been investigated. Therefore, this review has investigated the results of a tuned liquid column damper on a multi-degree of freedom platform using shake table testing. Experimental normalized frequency response curves for MDOF structures with TLCD have been determined. Both in time and frequency domains, and responses of a controlled MDOF framework have been analyzed and compared to uncontrolled structures. TLCD has enhanced the MDOF structure responses at harmonic loadings frequencies near resonance and historic earthquake excitations, according to the results. In addition, the increase in the responses of MDOF structures with TLCD is more significant at harmonic loadings than to historic earthquake loading. ".
