LSS‐net: 3‐dimensional segmentation of the spinal canal for the diagnosis of lumbar spinal stenosis

Lumbar Spinal Stenosis is one of the most common causes of persistent low back pain. Chronic low back pain not only reduces the quality of life of people, but also becomes a significant investment item in the country's economy due to the inability of the individual to engage in working life and healthcare costs, as well as chronic low back pain. As with other disorders, rapid diagnosis and early diagnosis of LSS can have a major effect on the quality of life of the individual. Magnetic Resonance Imaging is one of the testing used to diagnose LSS. Deep learningu2010-based machine learning is particularly fruitful at processing biomedical images such as MR. Lumbar MR Images is a model that performs 3DUT2010dimensional automatic segmentation for LSS diagnosis in this research. The 3D auto segmentation success rates in LSS diagnosis are very high, indicating that a Computer Aided Diagnosis system can be developed in LSS diagnosis.
