Purpose and Motivation The aim of this paper is to investigate the nonlinear effects of third-party logistics services' nonlinear quality measurements on customer satisfaction and loyalty. Customers continue to work with the company if the company provides good service recovery after the customer discovers faults in the product, and if customers trust the company's reputation, they will continue to work with the organization. Practical implications 3PL companies' results include not only dealing with customer satisfaction, but also other performance aspects that directly impact customer desire to continue doing business with the 3PL service provider. In addition, the current study, rather than most that look at the antecedents of 3PL customers' satisfaction and loyalty, shows that there is a nonlinear effect of the dimensions'u2019 results on customer satisfaction, which should be taken into account by 3PL executives.

Logistics Coordination Based on Inventory Management and Transportation Planning by Third-Party Logistics (3PL)

The investigation of the 3PL company, which is able to produce the demand forecasts to gain the functions of logistics coordination in the fields of inventory control and transportation planning is the most significant topic for the following paper. This research paper discusses the demand forecasting tool results for 29 selected distribution networks. The best way to transfer forecast results to an ABC analysis and transportation planning scheme is to build a cloud-based platform that uses WMS data, while still displaying the possibility of results visualization by using some BI packages or other tools to build managerial information dashboards. The central network of 3PLs responsible for planning and executing logistics processes with the addition of additional value is currently one of the most cost-effective models linked to logistics coordination.

Exporters and importers are minimizing risks under a string of international trades, but international trade terms are also relevant to ensure that human rights and obligations are still enforced. This research was conducted to investigate incoterms selection and third-party logistics' involvement in export and import logistics operations. We find that the synergy between the selection of incoterms documents and the involvement of 3PL parties could enhance export and import logistics activities.

The 2008 Survey of Indian Third-Party Logistics (3PL) Service Providers

Based on a previous survey, this paper examines a survey of Indian third-party logistics providers and compares the state of the industry to that of 2004. Both the 3PL industries of India and North America are also compared. According to the survey, the Indian 3PL industry lags behind North America in terms of global reach and breadth of service. The performance of Indian 3PL providers also underperforms in key variables that determine performance levels. Despite these limitations, the Indian 3PL industry is still growing. The Indian government is also upgrading the infrastructure, reducing paperwork, simplifying taxation schemes, and implementing growth-friendly policies.
