HEMlets PoSh: Learning Part-Centric Heatmap Triplets for 3D Human Pose and Shape Estimation.

Estimating a 3D human pose from a single photograph is a difficult challenge. This work seeks to solve the mystery of dragging the detected 2D joints into 3D space by adding an intermediate state, Part-Centric Heatmap Triplets, which reduces the gap between the 2D observation and the 3D interpretation. To display the relative depth of the end-joints for each skeletal body segment, the HEMlets use three joint-heatmaps. To regress the SMPL parameters of the body pose and shape, we continue to develop and append a thin yet powerful network module to demonstrate the HEMlets pose estimation. HEMlets PoSh is the entire HEMlets-based human pose and shape recovery pipeline. The HEMlets PoSh strategy's state-of-the-art findings support the extensive quantitative and qualitative studies on the existing human body recovery benchmarks.

Thermo-mechanical properties of 3D printed photocurable shape memory resin for clear aligners.

The present research investigated the thermo-mechanical and viscoelastic characteristics of a photocurable resin TC-85, a new material for the direct 3D printed clear aligners, comparing to a conventional thermoplastic material polyethylene terephthalate glycol, in comparison to a traditional thermoplastic material polyethylene terephthalate glycol. In addition, the shape memory property of the two materials was determined using a U-shape bending test, and the shape recovery percentage for 60 min at 37 °C was estimated. The results show that when used for 3D printed clear aligners, TC-85 will always apply a light force to the teeth, owing to its flexibility and viscoelastic properties.
